We have been trading friends for a couple of years now...
I cannot thank you enough though for turning me on to bond trading.
The last 10 days of
which there were 7 trading days have been a real eye opener to me. Over
these past 2 years we have successfully traded the ES and NQ but bonds are just
amazing. In those 7 trading days since I started trading bonds thanks to
your encouragement (might have even bordered on persistence at times) I have
done 34 trades and have had 31 winners. The most contracts I put on any
one trade was 2 but those 31 winners have amassed 181 ticks into my equity
curve. One trade alone was worth 66 ticks or more than $2000.00 on a
1-lot, absolutely amazing. We both know that that is the equivalence of a
40 point move on the ES, and a 100 point move in the NQ.
You took me out of my comfort zone in the ES and I cannot say thank you
enough for it. This has opened up a whole new trading realm to me and I
couldn't be more pleased with it. The indictors I normally use in trading
the ES work with great precision in the bond market .... Keep on
encouraging other traders to broaden there horizons and extend or increase their
comfort zones it is something I am now encouraging some of my other trading
friends to do.
